Pros and cons of OptumRx app for iPhone and iPad

OptumRx app good for

I had no problem with this app. After I installed and logged in, I was able to pull up my prescriptions and see my remaining refills. I did have a little trouble with the search portion and kept getting an error.
App seems to have generally the same functionality as the website. Convenient to to use. Sign out is well hidden, requiring 3 clicks to find and sign out. Should be in the upper righthand corner of basically each page, or at least the home page...

Some bad moments

It is not a customer friendly app. You cannot update billing and accessing your account information is challenging at best. Today I was told I could cannot access on my iPad. I need to be on a computer? Also on other apps you are given the ability for couples to view each others prescriptions. This important for me since I do the ordering for the family.
Had this program for a while but it seams no one cares about getting the app fixed . Have always gotten error when trying to look at my medicine cabinet.
This is app is as useless as the OptumRx website. Their IT people must be total idiots. As with the website, its nearly impossible to tell the real status of your orders. The past and present order dates are incorrect, as are the expiration dates. The "Next Shipment" date is apparently meaningless since none of my prescriptions hes ever shipped anywhere close to the projected date. If you like the anxiety of never knowing for sure whether your medications will arrive when you need them, then this app is for you. Otherwise, just stick with your local pharmacy.
The title says it all. Signing up was a pain - if you have an error on a page the app doesnt indicate which field is in error. Then when I tried to renew my prescriptions the app never was able to process the order. Perhaps it just hates IPhones and IPads. Dont waste your time
The only portion of the app that seems to work is the claim section. Medicine Cabinet and Order Status doesnt return any information. I get better information faster by calling them instead. This app seems like it was designed and built with little thought about the user experience or needs. Seems like it was built just to say they have an app.
This app does nothing. You log in and it never loads your dashboard with your prescriptions, and it will not load any of your account info. I have tried numerous times over the last few months, and it never works on my iPad or iPhone. Website is awful too, never recognizes you even when you password is right. I log into the app, but the same password doesnt work on the website. So much for convenience
