OptumRx App Reviews

Frustrated

Cant get anything to work, login screen/register takes me to a blank screen indefinitely.

Useless

This app is completely useless on my iPad or iPhone. When I open the app it prompts me to login in or register. Seeing Im registered, I login to be greeted by a message telling me that people will be able to use this app for prescriptions soon. If I want to use the sight, go to the main website. Go to the main website and login in and it takes me back to the app and wants me to login in again. Talk about running in circles and getting nowhere. Deleted.

Superior service

Ive had other drug supply Apps. Optum Rx is the best Ive ever had. Takes care of everything, no loose strings, keeps me up to date, no worries, no bumps in the road, current, prompt, flawless. A pleasure.

Clunky, slow and worthless

App is painfully slow and clunky. Prescriptions take weeks to arrive and pricing is nefariously inconsistent. If I wasnt required by my insurance company to use them I would not.

Whats the point?

Ive tried all means possible to sign up. First I had issues with "no content found" emails being sent to confirm my email address. Then I gave up after more than a dozen attempts to submit my information to use the app. The submit button does not work! Therefore, I find the app completely useless and a total waste of time. I guess my insulin gets here when it gets here and Ill pray it doesnt sit out in the weather too long.

Very good!

I use the mobile app to order refills and manage my meds. I have had no problems at all. The app is easy to use, helpful, and efficient. I like that you can choose when to order a refill or have them automatically refilled. It is so nice to have your meds delivered to you. OptumRx also saves me money.

Easy efficient app

I have read some of the negative views and dont agree. The site is easy, efficient and detailed on your prescription needs, whether its refills or renewal request and keeping track of all medications that are taken. The is App very useful when your away from home to keep track of your meds. The app is very useful

Excellent

Very easy to use

Unusable

App crashes on log in 90 per cent of the time. I was finally able to log in, and it now asks to verify my birthday. I entered my birthday, and the app crashed Again. Optum RX probably ought to just take this mess down and start over. Companies need to understand that its better to have no app at all, than to hurt their brand by putting out a crap app.

So frustrating!!

I use to love to be able to log in to the OptumRx mobile website from my iPad. But for some reason the site will no longer load so I was so excited when I saw there was an OptumRx app I could download. Haha. Yeah right. Its useless. It made me login about 5 times in a row so I was excited when it finally logged me in, only to see there was nothing there but a plain white screen. If I want to check anything with my account I have to use a desktop computer. So frustrating it use to be so easy to load the mobile site on my iPad. Cant do that anymore so was excited to see there was an app. Man. Geez.

Optimus Rx app

Works super for me, very easy!!

Thrilled, Happy, Satisfied

Every time I use this app it never disappoints me. Very up to date and very functional in all areas of operation. I like that I dont have to go on my main computer to refill my prescriptions.

Need Touch ID enabled

Slow app and need to add Touch ID

If I had a Choice …

Guess its the nature of the beast, but Optum Rx and its parent United Health Care, do a marvelous job of pointing fingers at each other … then, ultimately, blaming the favorite scapegoats, Medicare and Affordable Care Act, for denial of medications. And they deny medications that multiple physicians agree are needed, because Optums "experts" disagree with a therapy. ("Alternate" medications are suggested – only to be rejected as well.) When they do allow meds, service – especially on the Web, or worse, its mobile app – is slow and full of bottlenecks, administrative, technical and logistical.

Not great

I just installed this app today after figuring out that I am unable to login to the website on a mobile device. So Ill just see how it goes from here. Sure have read a lot of negative reviews about the app. In general Ive not had a good experience with OptumRx overall, whether on the website or over the phone. I agree with one reviewer who said they deny a med & then suggest several substitutes. In my case they are no longer going to pay for the muscle relaxant that Ive been on for years because Im 65 now & they consider that drug to be too dangerous, Really? Of the 5 substitutes they suggested, only 1 was a muscle relaxant, the other 4 were NSAIDS. How ridiculous,Ive already been taking the largest dose possible of those for years. Just stupid IMO

VERY SLOW!

Love this app. Response time is too slow.

Constant errors

This app is terrible. I constantly get errors when trying to do anything with my prescriptions

TouchID, Keychain support badly needed

The app works nice enough, once you get in, but there in no support for the Keychain or TouchID, meaning that you need to type in your username and password each and every time.

Not an app, just a mobile website

Just as useless as their mobile website.

How not to create an app

There is one good thing about this app. You can order refills as you stand in your bathroom at 2am when you realize you are almost out of a medication. Mostly, however, it’s a huge disappointment. Logging in can be an exercise in futility, logging into the full website from the app is impossible, it would seen. I would like the app to send me notifications that an Rx needs to be filled so that I can take action with plenty of time for processing and delivery. Without a push notification that you need to order a refill and one that tells you you need to have your doctor call in an approval, it’s pretty useless.
